Originally i was thing of it replacing Battlefield 1, but i ended up changing my mind because battlefield 1 is deffinitely better in my opinion. Unlike every other game on this list, this game should be bought for both the single-player and online experience. The campaign is incredibly fun, with interesting characters and a great story about an aspiring rifleman climbing the ranks to become an elite titan pilot. Furthermore, the online experience is just as great and makes this one of the ”best value for money” games of the modern fps genre.
It is honestly insane how much alike these two games are, but Paladins is not a low-effort clone in any sense of the word. It’s a fast-paced, competitive, hero-based shooter that receives frequent updates, and in many ways, it’s just as good as the pay-to-play Overwatch. It is hard to tell which of the two games copied each other, Overwatch or Paladins, as they were both in development at the same time.
